Sorry for being gone so long

Sorry for being gone so long... Had some stuff come up and couldn't get around to updating.
Lot's has been going on, yesterday was a mess, and Noah came over for a sleep over and helped dad with sick run as well.
Anyway, yesterday, there wasn't a lot of calves born, one out in the cows, and 2 in the 3 year olds.
There was 2 calves born in the heifers but they both died. One was on X110 and the other was on X31. X110 calf died because it was a little to big and it was a slow birth and she also had a full prolapse and so she couldn't get up, even worse it's a day later and she still can't get up... X31 calf died cuz of a slow birth, because it was a bit to big, but we have a sick cow and so, Jordan got the job of skinning the calf, and putting it's hide on the sick cows calf... So X31 has a calf now! Yay!
Oh and a couple days ago we cleaned off the East quarter of all the pairs cuz dad wanted to do a cut off, but Jordan and Papa missed a pair, so dad and I found it the next morning and there she was, standing in the East quarter. Both dad and I had no idea how we missed her but anyway, Dad said we were gonna try and chase her out, make our life a little easier... It was going good, we had started chasing her and we were about 80 feet from the gate when Dad says "Hop off and stay on them while I go open the gate." I was like ok and got off the quad, but the moment I stepped off the quad this cow freaked out and took off running, and it's not like I could keep up!! So dad zoomed down to the gate flung it open and then went speeding after the pair, and man after that did it turn into a rodeo! Cow going one way, calf running the other, neither of them caring where the other was going! So finally dad got the calf and put the rope around it's ankle and we started to drag the stupid calf to the gate, with the cow following. But as soon as we were within 80 feet of that gate (again) this totally random cow calf pair and a lone calf come wondering out of the 12 acres! It's like really? Why today? We ended up having to let the calf to the crazy cow go. But do you think they would run towards the gate? Not a chance! So we got the lone calf back in, but this other pair that had wondered out was in the tree's, so dad sent me after them, and what do they do? As soon as I got close, the cow took off, calf hot at her heels, and they went right past the gate, didn't even glance at it. So dad went chasing after them and let the other pair we started this story with get away. when we finally got this other pair through the gate, the one we originally wanted was long gone... So dad closed the gate, and we left, we went out later that day to chase them out, but this time we had Jordan and Papa on horses, so we thought we would win. But do you think we could find that stupid calf anywhere? NO!!! It was like looking for a needle in a hay stack. So we left and the next day the calf was back, and happy, even walked right up to the quad to say hi. Figures...
